1. Refund Eligibility

1.1 7-Day Refund Window

You may request a full refund within seven (7) days of your initial subscription purchase or credit pack purchase, provided you meet the following conditions:

  • Your refund request is submitted within 7 days of the original purchase date
  • You have used less than 30% of your monthly credits (for subscription plans)
  • You have used less than 30% of purchased credits (for credit packs)

1.2 Usage Calculation

Credit usage is calculated based on:

  • Content generation operations (blogs, social posts, emails, etc.)
  • AI-powered features (text improvement, topic suggestions, analysis)
  • Media generation features

Free credits provided as bonuses or promotions are not counted toward your usage limit for refund eligibility.

2. Non-Refundable Items

The following are NOT eligible for refunds:

  • Subscription renewals (only initial purchases qualify for the 7-day window)
  • Purchases older than 7 days from the original transaction date
  • Accounts that have used more than 30% of allocated credits
  • Accounts suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service
  • Accounts suspended for abuse or fraudulent activity
  • Partial months of subscription service
  • Credits consumed before the refund request was submitted

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, follow these steps:

  1. Email us at hello@writesy.ai with the subject line "Refund Request"
  2. Include your account email address used for registration
  3. Provide the transaction ID or payment receipt (if available)
  4. Briefly explain the reason for your refund request (optional but helpful)

We will review your request and respond within 3 business days. If approved, refunds are processed through our payment provider, Paddle, and typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days depending on your financial institution.

4. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Please note:

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You will retain access to all features until the end of your paid period
  • No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period
  • Unused credits do not roll over after subscription cancellation
  • Your content and data remain accessible for 30 days after cancellation

5. Chargebacks and Disputes

We strongly encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your bank or payment provider. We are committed to resolving any issues quickly and fairly.

Please note that filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in:

  • Immediate suspension of your account
  • Loss of access to generated content
  • Ineligibility for future service

6. Service Credits for Technical Issues

If you experience technical issues that prevent you from using the service, we may offer service credits instead of refunds at our discretion. This includes:

  • Extended downtime or service unavailability
  • Failed content generation attempts (credits are automatically restored)
  • Bugs or errors that significantly impact your experience

Service credits do not expire and are automatically applied to your account.
